Tucson
Tucson, also known as the Old Pueblo, offers visitors a diverse array of exciting activities and attractions
to explore. From the breathtaking hiking trails at Sabino Canyon, to the historical tours of San Xavier
Mission, and world-class dining options. There is something for everyone here in the desert.
Daytrips
• Tubac, is a unique village that brings together local and national artists. With tours, art galleries,
wine tasting rooms, and one of the largest organic communities in the world, Tubac is truly
a special location worth the visit.
• Nogales, Mexico. Less than an hour south of Tucson is the Mexican border town of Nogales
which offers tourists unique shopping opportunities as well as authentic Mexican cuisine.
• Mt. Lemmon. A beautiful 40-minute drive up Catalina Hwy/Mount Lemmon Hwy takes you to
the quaint mountain village of Summerhaven. Mount Lemmon is the highest peak in the
Catalina Mountains. With pine forests and temperatures averaging 20-30 degrees lower than
the desert below, it’s hard to believe it’s less than an hour from Saguaros and Mesquite trees!
